Enemy attacks..Little Man and ….Victory in Christ

four days till Gamma knife..

Halloween..

Romans 8:28 

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

This is so beautiful.. because it is SO true… 

When Little Man's school closed giving us a weeks notice.. 

it was CRUSHING..

 because he has special needs..

 because continuity is HUGE for littles..

 because no other school would accept him.. 

because the public school keeps dragging their feet.. 

and our family, our son needed him to be in full day school.. 

It is his best hope and option… 

When the day after they told us this.. we learned about Moriarty.. 

it was even MORE crushing…

 because and delusions I had of "rallying" to get through were dashed.. 

EVERYTHING was TOTALLY on God… 

and HE really IS able.

Our son spiraled..

 He did NOT process the closing of his school..

 He KNEW something was wrong with his mama..

 and the next 10 days were like living through hell…

 talk about a dark dark valley.. 

both for him.. and for us.. 

he despaired… 

and we prayed.. in my heart…

 i hoped for a nice little Montessori school..but I kept dismissing it…

 EVERY school or daycare I called said NO..

 and finally Rob said.. "what about that Montessori school".. 

He agreed with me, that Maria Montessoi's approach, 

originally designed for special needs.. was just possibly what our Little Man needed…

They accepted him..

 It's only been a couple weeks .. but he's very happy..

today they had their Halloween Parade/Singalong..

and he's PART of the community.. 

He is LOVED and he LOVES.. He is accepted.. and not awkward.. 

the BIG kids like and KNOW him.. 

and he's SO proud of the work he's doing there..

 I know with him.. it'll be two steps forward..

 one step back..

 but its been like two leaps forward these two weeks.. 

and I struggled to hold back the tears as they sang and sang,

 songs of love, and community, and friendship and being THANKFUL…
 because it was MY little man

that ran from teacher to teacher saying LOUD as can be, THANK YOU.. 

(totally interrupting the song and bringing smiles to EVERYONE) 

and all I could think of was

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

we may have had to walk through hell to get HERE.. 

and we miss his old teacher plenty.. 

but THANK YOU JESUS.. 

because for where our family is today.. 

for what we face tomorrow..

 THIS was worth it..
